At the meeting, Shen Jinjing of Jiewei Power Research Institute gave a speech entitled "The current situation and Challenges of Fast-charging Power Battery Technology".Shen Jinjing said that both consumers and new energy vehicle companies are paying attention to and promoting the development of fast-charging battery technology. When it comes to fast-charging power batteries, solving the uneven distribution of current density and material deterioration under high currents is the key to improving the fast-charging performance of batteries.Based on the above analysis, Shen Jinjing shared the battery fast charging technology from the three dimensions of material design, electrode design, and charging strategy.

At the same time, two products were introduced in the sharing, 118Ah battery cells, energy density of 300Wh/kg, charging time of less than 18 minutes, and cycle life of more than 2000 times.The 8-minute fast-charging battery has an energy density of 245 Wh/kg, and a cycle of 1000 weeks can guarantee 94% of the power.Through material innovation and electrode structure design optimization, combined with electrochemical simulation technology, Jiewei Power continuously realizes the development of high specific energy fast charging products.
